Table Reservation (On phone) by Dwiki Prasetya.
1. Picking up the phone
-Picking up the phone quickly, max 2 or 3 times. If more than that, say sorry for waiting.
2. Greeting
-Greeting to the guest based on time. Example: “Good morning sir/madam.”
-Don’t forget to mention your name and Restaurant name. Example: “Pavillion Restaurant, Dwiki’s speaking.”
-Offering help. Example: “May I assist you?” or “May I help you?”
3. Asking the name & phone number
-Ask the guest name and phone number. Example: “May I know your name?” and “May I know your phone number?”
4. Asking the date & time arrival
-Ask the date and expected time arrival. Example: “What date would you like?” or “For when your reservation is made?” and “What time would you like?”
5. Asking the pax
-Ask the total pax. Example: “How many person would you like to reservation for?”
6. Asking for the special request
-Ask for the special request like non-smoking room, private room, city view, pool view, etc. Example: “Do you have special request?” or “Where would you like to sit?”
7. Repeating reservation
-Always repeat the reservation.
-Make sure the reservation is correct.
8. Asking about down payment
-Ask about payment. Example: “How would you like to pay for the down payment, sir?”
9. Closing
-Thanks the guest by name. Example: “Thanks for the reservation.” and “We’re looking forward to seeing you there.”
